Everyday Mindfulness:

Managing Our Anxious Self

Everyday Mindfulness Seminar is for those concerned about anxiousness in themselves or in another, & have an interest in developing practical tools to help themselves and those they care about. 

Anxiety can show up as:

*a mind full of fearful thoughts & self doubt

*body full of tension, nausea, fatigue

*overwhelming need to leave certain situations or avoid      altogether

With the start of the New Year, take this opportunity to reset your intentions & move from living on autopilot to integrating mindfulness for a greater sense of well-being.

Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention

 

MBRP is an experiential 7 week course developed for those in addiction recovery and anyone wanting to break negative thinking & complusive behaviors that keep them in pain. The course integrates mindfulness practice with cognitive-behavioral relapse prevention.  Participants learn to respond in ways that serve them, rather than react in ways that are detrimental to their health & happiness.
 

The Course Offers:
Intro to Formal & Informal Mindfulness Meditation
Increase awareness of triggers and reactive behaviors
Deeper understanding of how our thoughts & feelings influence our behavior
Experiential exercises that include sitting and walking meditation, deep relaxation, mindful eating.
